Today Squeakie graduated Kindergarten (guess the next two half days are just formal for the school system dates) so I tried to avoid tears as another chapter in my life is closing, I have no babies or little people anymore. I'd like to say I'm normal, like to say that I'm not worried about body image anymore and that I'm passed eating issues but now that I am faced with getting on a scale at the doctor again in a month for my yearly physical I'm freaking if what the paper said last year was right and it wasn't a mistake I'm considered overweight wearing 12's that fall ( Read more... )

Not sure I agree with the "Fitnessgram" the school sends out now with Field Day - seems they check the kids 2x a year and label things like their BMI and other various measurements and on the letters show warnings if they are under weight etc. Of course they label him as so same with Josh on physicals. Well I was "screwed" and survived *g* At least the dentist laughed as he never heard it put that way. The screwing of the actual metal in sucked - was odd to feel it twisted into your jaw bone almost as bad as listening to them drill to get it inside. 8 Stitches later and he asked the girl for a "bit of bone" which I'm trying not to get grossed out ( Read more... )
