What a great day today was!

I feel like I belong at my school. I'm fairly comfortable. Overall, my students are great (despite those who are lazy/oppositional).

Today, life is good.

Well, it's not totally official yet, but today Steve and bought a house! Yesterday we made an offer, and today the owners countered it and we accepted their new price. It's pretty damn amazing. As of now, we'll be settling on December 21, which gives us a good chunk of time to get inspections done, save some $$, and just get ready in general to ( Read more... )

I keep having nightmares about spiders and bugs, and they're really starting to creep me out. I had another one last night, the 4th in the last few weeks. Last weekend I had a dream that there was a spider the size of a cat in the living room and my mom shooed it toward me. Spent the morning at my school. Got my big old pile of paperwork to fill out. Got a sort-of tour and found out that I don't have a classroom. I'll be a crazy nomadic cart lady for the year.
