But first -- my opinion on the episode.

Okay, I know a lot of people didn't like it. But, don't hate me, I actually liked it. I thought it was pretty good story wise. And it was really really nice to see everybody in almost every scene. So even though the episode was about Callie and her baby, it didn't feel like someone was left out.

I couldn't even get most of the conversation between Mark and Arizona because the music was in the way in my mind. I rather hope I can get a Closed Caption version of the story, so I can get the story line without the music.

I think too, we are used to having more than one story line in a GA episode. This was really just one event, one story. I agree about Mer/Der. Liked the on call room scene and felt the elevator scene deserved something more. But, couldn't nail it down.

I think that my overall opinion is that the dialogue was good but please, God, no more supernatural/out-of-body experiences. I've hung in there for A LOT (as have you and other people who have been around the block a few times with this show), but just tell me a story. It doesn't have to be a spectacle every freaking time.

Off to watch the elevator scene again!

I have mixed feelings. I think overall, it was just too unrealistic for me. All of the singing felt out of place and awkward. Except for the MerDer scenes, which weren't sung, I found myself laughing the entire time, and I don't think that was Shonda's intention. Don't get me wrong, I give the writers and cast so much credit for being brave enough to do a musical episode. It just didn't work for me, personally.

These icons are awesome! Love them! :)

I have an opinion on the musical, and I think I'm gonna make a journal entry about it tomorrow (I'm to tired now. :P).
