Things are muchly in a state of flux at the moment, but not nescessarily in a bad way. Just did a search on hotornot for anyone in SE England into streetboarding, male or female. No luck. Midlands, no luck. London area, no luck. Whole of England, no luck. In fact, there is only 1 other person with streetboarding as an interest in the whole world on hotornot, and he's in America. So I'm the only one here. So I'm special!

Got a trial shift as a barman at the Thatched Tavern tomorrow. I know I will inevitably screw it up, because at uni I was a terrible barman (I know, how hard is it to pour drinks, really?), but I was always fairly good at smiling and nodding at the right times and looking innocent, so fingers crossed I can somehow get through it. No luck yet with getting hold of the house people, even knocking on their front door had no joy. I very much think that's £450 pissed down the pan. On the plus side though, job prospects looking good at the Envy nightclub in Camberley for bar work. Well, after 2 months of searching I found the park, only to discover it's being demolished. Still no luck with the bar work I've applied for, been put on the 'short list' which I'm sure is a polite way of being told to piss off. Shiva's sheep! I think I may finally have uncovered the location of the mythical Longhill Skate Park. COntrary to my former belief, it is not actually reputed to be in Martins Heron, where I have been focusing my searches, but is actually on Longhill, just down the road.
