Ditto on the white text on dark BG. It's against my design sensibilities, but it's either that or printing things out for me anymore.

Really? I don't like white text on black background. XD I suppose we'll just have to find the happy medium somewhere... Maybe a creme coloured background with dark-spectrum (like green) pastel-ish text? *ponderponder*

It's crazy. I didn't even realize it was something I gravitated towards until I redid my background the last time and realized that the last five times I'd redone the background they'd all be black or dark colors because they were easier on my eyes. Possibly, I might need new glasses too though. -_- I'm putting it off though, because I'm already myopic enough as it is. Don't want to hear that it's gotten worse...
Creme colored might not be so bad though...*ponders with you*

Light gray text on white background? DRIVES ME CRAZY. How can anyone read something that low in contrast? Those people are the reason my LJ allows you to force your layout onto other people's journals.
