There's misbehaving and there's misbehaving. Getting in the trash, tearing up newspapers, making the furniture -- that's the bad stuff. But getting up in your face to give you puppy kisses and say "I love you!!!" or jumping against the door like a little maniac 'cause they're so excited to be going walkies? That's the good kind. <3

Ditto on the white text on dark BG. It's against my design sensibilities, but it's either that or printing things out for me anymore.

Ironically, I have the exact same effect if I'm reading white text on black background. *grins*

(I turn my contrast down a fair bit so that white backgrounds aren't blinding.)

*gurgles and dies* XD That video is just too awesome. I used to have a German Shepard, Labrador mix and she acted exactly like that! So did the Dachshund. But now I have two chihuahuas, so they're easier to handle. :3

Really? I don't like white text on black background. XD I suppose we'll just have to find the happy medium somewhere... Maybe a creme coloured background with dark-spectrum (like green) pastel-ish text? *ponderponder*

My parents' dogs were just like that too. Very high energy. But, it's fun that way. You're never in doubt that they love you to pieces? XD

It's crazy. I didn't even realize it was something I gravitated towards until I redid my background the last time and realized that the last five times I'd redone the background they'd all be black or dark colors because they were easier on my eyes. Possibly, I might need new glasses too though. -_- I'm putting it off though, because I'm already myopic enough as it is. Don't want to hear that it's gotten worse...

Creme colored might not be so bad though...*ponders with you*

Black text on white background? White text on black background? Bah. It's all good with me.

Light gray text on white background? DRIVES ME CRAZY. How can anyone read something that low in contrast? Those people are the reason my LJ allows you to force your layout onto other people's journals.
