Oh I love this! You have both characters down really well and I love how indigent Ten got at his show being canceled. You've got me curious, though. I really want to know what book Hermione grabbed before she left.

(sporfles at the "No, you're the fictional character, not me" bit) And the Doctor being upset at the cancellation! Because of course, in Hermione's time, she would be in the Who-less desert between 1989 and 2005.

It's so like the Doctor to be obliviously admiring Merlin's technology, while Hermione is upset that he's not a wizard. And Arthur was nice to her (awww)

And the pig-man from the planet Hogwarts! (grin)

What book did Hermione grab? Was she lucky enough to pass by a shelf which had the Harry Potter books, or did she just grab a book at random?

And the end: yes, there's always time to re-read a favourite book...

I'm glad you liked it. I think that the Doctor would have been wise enough to not let Hermione loose in a room of the Library that had the Harry Potter books in it; Hermione may not believe in a scripted fate, but hey, temptation is temptation. But I think he knew that she would grab something before she left, despite Hermione treating it as covert, so her "random" book was in a section the Doctor chose specifically for her. So, reader's choice: what book do you think the Doctor would give Hermione as a present?

So cute! This is one of my favorite crossovers in this genre yet~ A third year Hermione still has the innocence to travel with the Doctor~ I hope that you'll write a short epilogue/sequel where Hermione watches new!Who and recognizes Tennant as the Doctor~

Thank you! And I don't know, I'll leave the possibility of an epilogue open, but I'm not so thrilled about having to accept that the Deathly Hallows epilogue is canon (since Hermione would be in her late twenties by the time Doctor Who came back). But we'll see what happens.
