McCain made some idiotic statement about how you can't expect to put two "mavericks" together and have them agree on everything. How is that supposed to get votes? I got my early voting ballot today. I didn't think about it until it got here that I wouldn't get one of those "I Voted!" stickers if I vote this way. Now I'm sad.

As long as I'm putting my seditious thoughts out there: now that the US gov't has a controlling interest in the largest insurer in the world (AIG), why can't they use that to socialize healthcare? Can someone who understands economics better than me explain why no one has seriously suggested turning the $700bil buyout into a stock grab? Seems like that would solve all the problems at once.
