Where I am living now is a perfect place for someone w/o a car. I live right aross the street from the metro, and my roomate takes it everyday to la for work. Its a very friendly public transportation area. I don't know about a room for rent yet, I signed a year lease in feb, but your more then welcome to crash here rent free until you could make friends get a place with them, or wait until my lease is up and we could find a place. Or you could always find people in my area on the net. I've always found pretty good roomates through craigslist. I don't know? But I do think it would be rad if you came out to la. I live in n. hollywood now but its like 20 min from down town la. Its quieter and much nicer then the place I was living before. and I'm in the arts district so theres alot of neat things around me.
