Day 15ish, still sick. Going to doctor, maybe some codeine cough syrup will enable me to sleep. Also, possibly need to lay off the guaifenisen.

Still coughing up gunk, hooray for first cold of school year. Yesterday was one of those very low motivation days; I needed to just gleefully write the day off as a loss to productivity and not tried to buck the urge for sloth. I think I would have been happier. I do need to work on asking other people if they want company.

And Blam! after a month back, teaching feels normal and the idleness of the summer is a memory.

I just finished. I'm not quite sure what to make of it; but I really like some of the issue it raises at the end regarding the nature of power and how childish visions are always childish. A grim meathook fairy tale.

I guess it is all my own fault. My routine was disrupted and I failed to show up to work on time. This is something I do approximately once every 5 years. It's not a serious issue but apparently people started to worry (I was 15 minutes late for a class) and tried to call me.
