Last night was pretty cool. The fireworks here in Reykjavik were incredible!! The only way I can describe them is take all the cites in the US on 4th of July, take all their fireworks, light them all off at the same time, in the same city. Freaking awesome!! So the blizzard stopped, the rain came, and now we have big slush drifts.. :)

Had to go back to work at 12:45... oh well.. it was a short day, so who's complaining? :)

I need to buy a freakin car... ARRGGHHH why can't I find a 4WD easily here?!

Well I got sent home from work because there was a BLIZZARD outside. Driving home was great... I couldn't even see the road.. there are no lights out where I work on the road.. the only thing I had were the reflectors on the sides of the road.. of which I almost ended up on the wrong side of one of them. The highlight of the day thus far was eating at TGI Friday's. I am sick.. so I feel kind of blah..

Today was cool.. me, Art, Maryann and Devon drove out to Geysir, then continued up to Gulfoss. There was a lot of snow everywhere, and it was kind of cold. Devon and Maryann didn't dress for the weather, hence they stayed in the car or the cafe when me and Art went exploring ( Read more... )

Yay... it's Christmas eve, 10 minutes till Christmas.. bored bored bored

There was absolutely nothing open in Reykjavik.. nothing! I even asked a Taxi driver if anything was open, and he said "Try the bus station!"

Hmm... wonder what to do tomorrow?
