Well, to sum up this 4 day weekend with one word, it would have to be BORING. On Thanksgiving I thought that I might do a day trip with Amy and Crystal, and maybe Jesse. There is a brilliance to the sky here, that I don't think I have ever witnessed anywhere else. The clouds cleared up, and the rain stopped. The wind is quite minimal right now, and it is very calm outside. I went outside with the hopes to catch the northern lights, which the weather channel said would have "possible" visibility. Today I woke up around 11:30am. Me and a guy from my shop (who has a car) left and went out to Reykjavik (the capitol). Pretty large city, not too bad really. Went to a mall there, which wasn't exactly all that big, but hey.. what do you expect? Most everything was overpriced compared to the states, so you know what that means... Today was pretty boring. I woke up around 6 this morning, and watched two movies. Didn't do much today, except go to the NEX, get some food at one of the clubs. Crap, gotta go.. write more later or tomorrow.

So here I am, got here at 7:20 this morning. It was as dark as midnight, and 41 degrees and raining. So far this morning, I managed to get my room, discover that I have no pillow, will have a roommate, pop the circuit breaker for the wall-outlets, then leave my keycard in my room when I go out into the hall to find the breaker box ( Read more... )
