Weight Gain/First post in over a year

I'm tired of yo-yoing with my weight. I was 155lbs just six months ago and then I lost a bit of control and slipped to 168-170lbs.

So annoying.

Urgh. I joined Sparkpeople.com and it helped initially. Then I got bored and lazy and quit journaling. Hence gaining it back. But the thing that truly sucks is not being able to speak my mind on ( Read more... )

You! You're back! Yay! =D

I know how you feel about the weight thing. I've managed to stay pretty consistent for the last 3 years (and I started college and only gained 2 lbs. of the Freshman Fifteen), but that consistent weight is 30 lbs. over my ideal weight. *Shrugs.* I'm working on not caring so much, though. Again, my awesome little liberal arts college has helped with that. =P

*hugs!*

That's what makes me the saddest, I guess. This time last year I didn't care and it was easy. Now that I care it seems harder! I need to work on it again, lol. But yeah, I get the staying consistent thing, at least I've dealt with the same amount of weight. *hugs* Good luck with your mental battle. :D Also, love Robyn Sparkles. So funny!

Yay you're back! That was my first thought; it has been ages since I've seen your icon.

And I totally sympathize with the positive thinking. Ugh, some days you just want to be bitter and it is so hard to not do that all of the time.

*hugs you!!* I'm trying to be back, whee!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds it hard to be positive constantly! I want to scream, no joke. XD

dude weight issues are hard last year of college I was down to a 16 and almost close to needing a smaller size and now back to size 18 for me and it sucks but then I guess I'm lucky cause since high school my weight only yo-yos between a size 14-18 and I'm usually on a 18..

in other news it's good to see you posting....happy monday to you today

Girl, I know exactly how you feel. I was in a comfortable 10 and just almost in a 8 when all this weight gaining back thing started. Annoying much? Why is it when you're not trying, it really seems to melt away. But the moment you start you want to go running for a cookie!? It just doesn't make sense, man.
