Lovely, hon. Really sweet. The John / Rodney moment was great illustration, and that John had no qualms about mentioning the incident was very in character.

Also loved the probability / medical supplies moments. And I am very please that it's Carson first kissing Rodney, not the other way round. About time to get the upperhand on the smug bastard indeed.

so, what do you want to see in part four? okay, logically, what is a natural progression from this part?

oh, and warning: these two illustrate "too wise to woo peaceably" to me :) so, not going to just be smooth sailing

Yup, I agree with the 'no smooth sailing' part. They're both not exactly made for that. But I'd love to see something like... how to put that in words... Carson repeatedly showing Rodney that analytical intelligence in some circumstances is useless (as opposed to emotional intelligence, of which Carson has at least some)

If they find a way to really work together, they'd make a tremendous team. Loved to see that.
And I'd love to see the reactions of the other team members when they learn about the relationship, and how especially Rodney deal with being treated as 'freshly in love' aka 'moonstruck' :D

Hmmm...nice and subtle, with a good amount of tension. I can see it leading to a small misunderstanding after this:

Carson's grin widened at his reaction. 'Good. About time I get the upperhand on the smug bastard.'

Then Rodney will respond instinctively by lashing out to protect himself, and then they'll both say stupid things and then kiss and make up later. *nods*

yay! wonderful part Kaytee. *happy sigh* my favorite bit is when Rodney quotes the odds on Carson looking for him there. and then the bit with Sheppard telling Carson about Rodney's sleep talk and the implication that Carson is his rock.
