When I was taking karate lessons, with short hair and no makeup and wearing a baggy gi, several people in my class initially thought I was a boy. ^^; I think I was seventeen, so I did have a figure somewhere under all that heavyweight cotton.

Little kids take a while to figure it out. I remember being pretty proud of myself when I was maybe four years old and thought "Aha! Girls wear earrings!" I'm going to be preparing some seedlings soon myself. Might direct plant something other than radish too... I'm trying do decide where to plant my "massive" corn field.

Androgynous is cool (and so are baggy cargo pants). I don't know if walking like a boy is cool as is not always the male way to walk elegantly (I know I walk "funny" as has been pointed out to me...)
