I searched for 1981 on YouTube and had to go through a lot of Eurovision song contest entries before finding the Stray Cats performing Rock This Town. Hi, you added my old LJ (mr_manifesto) over two years ago and I never added you back because I had left LJ at that point. Well, I've decided to return and I'm still unpierced (and untattooed as well) and after looking through your profile I really like lots of your interests. I'm hoping you'll add my new journal back.

I used to be into heavy bands like maiden & all (I've seen them live on the Somewhere in Time, Seventh Son, & No prayer for the Dying tours) but I was never into the more thrashy end of the metal scene. I never got into slayer, sorry, but recently I am more into arty indie bands. I'm sure we can still talk about a lot of metal though since I have over 3000 records/cds and a great deal of them would fall into that category.

I find it an interesting contrast that a slayer fan would be unpierced & untattooed. From what I remember of them they are very tattooed & pierced.

Hey, you're back! I was beginning to wonder, considering I had added you a couple of weeks ago.

Since I'm making you jealous about seeing bands you like live let me also say that aside from seeing Maiden live 3 times I've also seen Judas Priest on the Painkiller tour and Ozzy on the No Rest for the Wicked tour (you only listed Black Sabbath on your interests so I'm not sure if that counts). I don't know what other metal bands you are into, but I've been to quite a few shows. :P

The combination "metal" listed in your interests and the user name of slayertatiana leads to unfortunate assumptions. I'm sorry for that, but I'm sure you could see how people could think that you are a slayer fan if that's all they have to go by, right ( ... )

Yes, I'm still using LJ regularly (although I read much more than I write); when you added me I was unwell and not up to composing a reply, and then I procrastinated for a while in fear of finding out that I couldn't stand you, or you thinking I was boring, but I got over it eventually and found that making a new friend is not as scary as I thought ( ... )
