If you're going back to that job once your back is better I'd mention that saying you're not suitable because you have an allergy that doesn't relate to your job performance is descrimination. She should be letting the other staff members know of your allergy & tell them that citrus products are banned. William isn't allowed to have peanutbutter or nutella in his sandwiches at school because one of the girls in his class has a nut allergy.
