I know it seems like I've been gone awhile...but mostly I just write privately...somehow at the end of the day, there's always been something that needed doing more than the translation of my journal entries for public consumption....this piqued my interest though ( Read more... )

(a) first, recommend to me:
1. a movie: City of Lost Children (french)
2. Undrestanding Comics by Scott McCloud (its good I tell you!)
3. Coheed and Cambria or UNKLE (Takes a little while to get used to Coheed's vocalist, but its good sh*t)

(b) ask me three questions, no more, no less. ask me anything you want.
1.what is one thing you remember about me from grade school. besides the comb over.
2. What was the latest book YOU read?
3. Would you possibly like a hard copy of your LJ?

1. I remember thinking you were a little odd. You didn't have the same silly things on your mind as everyone else...you always had a project or a comic or something you were working on.
2.Song of Solomon by Toni Morrison
3. Not really. I have a hard copy journal. Mostly lj is when I want to say things in public but don't quite have all the guts.

movie: Garden State, again and again. :)
book: Left Behind series is, in fact, very enthralling
music: Garden State soundtrack, again and again. Or Maroon 5 "Songs about Jane." I haven't actually heard the whole thing yet, but I'm SO buying that today.

1. What are your plans for 2005?
2. What was the best party/social event you've ever been to?
3. What's the nicest thing anyone has ever said to you? or, what's the nicest thing lately if you can't remember.

1. Handling this promotion at work, going to school ASAP, going three months without a medical crisis.
2. Kind of a tie for different reasons...our sixteenth birthday party, just because everything was on point that day....it was just fun. The party on steamboat island that John took me to...because for the first time in my life I was perfectly ok to just observe...and be astounded by the coolness of the people around me...and all band trips/choir tours...and every single moment I ever spent at Lutherhaven...if that counts as a social event.
3. Someone once told me I inspired them to be less the way they were, and more the way I am...I never thought I had anything in me that anyone would want to emulate...it meant a lot.
