In an effort to overcome the mind numbing depression as of late, I decided yesterday to suck it up and focus only on things that make me happy. So, here's the list.

( 50 things I love (in no particular order) )

I just baby sat for someone I know's baby. For 9.5 hours. She just came and picked him up, and did not even offer to pay me. Not that I neccesarily would have accepted it. But to not even offer? Gr.
People are pissing me off. Some are just inconsiderate, some apparently unable to answer phones or reply to Emails. Gr.

So the work week is over. The official work week anyway. I'm off for two days, and full of plans for how to spend them. Tommorrow I'm babysitting for my friend Paulette. 10 hours of five-month-old baby time. He's sweet, but formula fed. He's HUGE!! I can't even guess how much he weighs, but I'd guess at least 20 lbs...he looks like a baby Cartman. ( Read more... )

Today was a good day...for no apparent reason. Work went well. I managed to have a sense of purpose and humor about even my worst calls. Sam got a book I've been jonesin to read, so that's bonus. So today was kinda a good day. Work was sloooowww...so I got off five hours early. Came home, rented movies, ate dinner and had our friends John and Chandra over. Happy New Year everybody!! I passed my night in typical boring fashion. Peacefully asleep for about twelve hours...I guess we'll save all the wild partying for some other girl.
