Aww man, poor Luke. :( And poor Reid, too, feeling powerless (as a doctor) is probably not exactly his favorite thing.

I'm glad Luke came clean, and hopefully that promise won't be broken (though it'd make for a good angsty sequel. *lalala*)

Reid's promise--yeah, maybe he shouldn't do that but there's no way he's losing Luke, nope. He'll do what he can to make sure of that.

Aww Lovely Worried and Protective Reid. Plus Luke not wanting him to worry and then finally telling Reid how he feels :)

Oh, poor Luke and Reid. It's so hard on both in a relationship when one is very ill like that, but their love will keep them strong. Glad to see you posting. Hope it lifted the dark curtain for you!

I just can't get motivated to write anything other than FFF ficlets. :(

Sorry you got teary--I did too actually writing this. I didn't mean it to be so angsty but somehow sick!Luke needed to be written. I too think they'd deal with this much, much later but for some reason (?), I set this around the 3-year mark of their relationship.

I will write about this again someday, I promise.
