this happens at ticky sometimes because we need a new sewer main; ours is very old and full of tree roots and things. though it's never been that deep; we mostly notice earlier and stop letting water go down it. water doesn't just come up it, but if it's clogged and we put water down it, stuff will come up. yuqqq.

Oh man, *hugs* to you. I was watching a ridex (? some septic treatment/prevention thing) and was telling my mom I'm never living someplace not on a sewer system. I don't care how good the rent is, just nope. Not doing it.

Ouch. I'd be willing to pick through the storm drain again if necessary, as long as that storm drain doesn't have anything from the septic tanks in it (I'm ok with the little weed-things or whatever they are).

Also, I wouldn't be drinking, but I could be up for going out tonight.

I would go out drinking with you if I was there and we weren't drinking that water.
