Housebreaking

So while I slept through it this time and my downstairs neighbor chased him off before anything could happen, someone tried to break into the side door of the house I live in last night (which is a door away from my own door), and once again I'm thinking about what it means to feel unsafe in places I live in

Good lord; I'm glad you're ok. How is it we lived in Boston all that time and didn't have break-ins, and now you've had two in Missouri? I have renters insurance, too; it's pretty cheap, and worth it.

Hey thanks. Yeah, it's weird. I'm thinking of proposing this for our new license plates: "Missouri: a place that seems mostly safe. Unless you know better."

But it probably wouldn't fit...
