A Weestak's Christmas in Whales

The Friday after Thanksgiving, the family went to the beach with the intended goal of taking a picture we'd be able to send out with our Christmas cards. The lighting was atrocious, the beachcombers omnipresent, and the children... impatient, but we still managed to get a few fun shots.

You know, I'd imagine living next to the beach is almost as annoying as living in the mountains in winter. "You got SAND all over EVERYTHING!" As opposed to "You didn't take your boots off and there's melted snow EVERYWHERE!"

The weestaks are so sweet, I think I have a toothache! Catherine's non-fussy defiant posing is the best!
