Wow, happy birthday to Catherine! She's blossoming into a sleestak proper!

That is soooo cool you got her a guitar! In the fourth grade, I begged my parents for one, and they said no! I was a total fourth grade nothing because of them! And now look at me. Ugh.

Catherine is going to be a destroyer of hearts, what with her cute apple cheeks, her bright eyes and her ability to play the solo from Stairway to Heaven flawlessly. Well, that last one will come in time. I am sure of it.

60 years. Wow. My longest relationship lasted six months. So, uh, my hat's off to them for sure!

Catherine may in fact turn out to be a heartbreaker, but she can't let boys get in the way of the BAND. It's about the MUSIC, not some dumb kid with oily skin and a cheesy mustache. Are you going to let him get in the way of our dreams? Are you going to flush all of our sacrifice and work down the toilet??

I may be getting ahead of myself, here.

Happy belated birthday to Catherine! Just when I thought she couldn't possibly be any cooler she went and asked you for a guitar, and played Ode to Joy by ear.

Catherine is a cool chick, and I'm lucky to be her Dad. She never ceases to amaze me.

I'm glad you like the mix! I had fun putting it together even though it fails to get across the summery vibe I was after. (What the hell does a corduroy dress have to do with June? The Howe Gelb album is called 'Sno Angel for pete's sake!)
