now it's almost out of control. can this mean that it's on it's way to getting better?

so much work misery. and i can't even talk about it.

this past year was pretty crazy. i think it was mostly good. things with work went from bad to worse, but at least the issues i am dealing with are real and significant and adult and not just boredom and resentment. things with mr man (god, i wish i'd given him a better name two years ago) are difficult but in a good way--we talk in real and scary ( Read more... )

a patron today asked me if i am an "after school student helper" at the library.

"no," i said. "i am the supervisor at this branch."

"oh," she said. "i got confused by your pigtails"
