So I'm trying to quit smoking... again. I've smoked since I was 12 years old, and never thought I would be 'that guy' who got hooked. quitting smoking is rough for the first week. then the cravings subside. as long as you steer clear of places that are smoke filled (Chilkoot Charlie style) you should do fine.

i can quit for months at a time, then i go to Koots and immediately have to smoke.

Funny, everytime i went to Koots i felt the sudden urge to drink as many dollar beers as I could afford. I was such a cheapass about it too... usually i tip a dollar no matter what the drink, so i would order two 20 ouncers every round, which cost $4. If you do the math, it's the equivalent of tipping a quarter for every dollar beer, it just doesnt look as cheap that way... i miss that place.
