It's out! :D This is just a short review because I am happy for the album and DVD performances for the unplugged. (OKAY, maybe it turned out to be a super duper long major post. But you know, it's a lot of things one would want to say because it has been so long since their last album...!) :D

I preferred this version of "Forever" over the original, but the performance of it really was super! :D
I love that last cap you took, because the lighting on Pi's hair is awesome :)

I didn't have any preference because I think both versions have their merits but when I saw that little portion of Forever being performed..........THAT WAS THE BEST I LOVE IT SO MUCH. It was casual, them just standing around singing (which is even better...!)

If only they didn't have credits rolling and included it as a bonus clip or something. I KNOW, THE LIGHTING!!

and YES!! kei's improved alot didn't he? i'm so proud of him~ even tho he looks like he's struggling to pull the notes in the unplugged DVD, he did a really good job in it!! *claps* but somehow i felt shige didn't sound as amazing as before, he sounds like he's grasping for breath a lil ><

but i love how smiley Ryo-chan is in the DVD so lovely so rare in NEWS these days =X and Tego seems like he's influenced alot by massu with his baggy pants and the hand pose thingy, totally LOL-ed at those scenes too!!

and i tot D.T.F (Do The Fool <- huh?) sounds alot like SMAP in their 90's rather den tegomasu-ish LOL \

totally regretting the fact tt i didn't purchase for the album now~ x( not tt my bank a/c would allow me to tho x(((

He has improved a lot :D And it is pretty obvious isn't it (in Endless Summer for instance) Though his voice still has room for improvement but comparatively, you can see his progress and that makes us all so proud of him ...! I think the notes were too high for Shige ><

Ryo's smile was so precious. You're right, we hardly get to see him being so smiley when with NEWS. So it was so nice to see him obviously all excited and revved up to sing :D And to talk quite a bit :D

Ya!!! I LOL-ed at Tego's pants too. Maybe it was Massu's present for him or something. Idk, he just didn't dress like usual Tego did he? And the hand gestures................he had them but never so much, which was surprising!

DTF is just....cute. I don't know what and how else to describe it haha. I do live this album (I think the DVD umplugged is such a gem and so precious ;D :D :D )

I doubt Massu gave him those pants, thrifty is Masuda-Family's trait right? LOL i highly suspect they are influencing each other way too much! Look at Massu's hair in those Con Goods!!! He pinned it up exactly the way Yukinojo did!!! It's like they are secretly picking up each other's fashion and habits xDDD

i fell out of news fandom around last year, then i got myself into kpop, and i just completely left news -__- but really, apparently no one can escape from JE haha
i've missed them, and i've been watching their old clips on my computer and now they even released an album! gosh, i really did miss the boys ;__;
and now i really need a news-related icon lol

And yes, I know what you mean by watching their old clips. They were younger and more chatty back then I think. Go watch the unplugged. I think it's one of the best things they have. I even love it more than concerts because.........this is LIVE:D

I liked a lot your views about each song. Finally I got to listen the whole CD and I got to say that it's awesome. I think the songs have different styles and a grown-up feeling.
I still haven't watched the DVD. I'm waiting for some subs since I wanna understand what they say in the making of.
Oh, I have to say this: Now I understand why Pi is expressionless! Shige stole Pi's expressions LOL Shige does such faces, I love it when he does them xD

Thanks! I like how they deserted some styles they have tried in the past (like LIAR ><) and I think they found that NEWS feeling back in this album :D

The subs are out at NEWShfan I think! And honestly, I think the Unplugged is on of the best things of NEWS >< Just because it's LIVE and they honestly looked like they enjoyed it ;D

HAHAHHAHA.Pi had expressions in there. I love it when he smiles. I think Shige's faces is so......unique to him XD
