14 Valentines; First Valentine: Body Image; Enchanted fic

It's that time of the year - 14 Valentines. Today's theme is body image.

My own offering is an Enchanted fanfic. For those of you who haven't seen this movie, watch it! It is adorable and sweet and pretty damn awesome. Quick disclaimer: I don't own Enchanted or the characters of Enchanted. I just like playing with them sometimes.

Reality doesn't deny fantasy )

Ah, thank you so much for this comment! I really love Giselle as well, and I think that she would look at every woman as completely beautiful. I'm very glad you enjoyed this.

I LOVE this, I think you get Giselle's inner voice perfectly and I just love the concept behind this.

Thank you very much! I've always thought the fashion industry needed to change more than it has done in order to promote diverse body types; I think Giselle would agree. Thank you for commenting~!

Oh! I love how you captured Giselle's innocence and love of life in this fic. Of course she doesn't see diversity in the beginning, but I really like how she goes about learning that there are all kinds of people. A great fic that really uses the theme well. Thank you for writing and sharing with us.

Oh, I do love this!!! Giselle kind of irked me a bit in the movie but here you convey her naivete quite well and with grace while staying completely true to the movie and the character. I loved your last line! Fantastic job! :)

Thank you so much! I wasn't sure what to make of Giselle at first, but by the end of the film she had won me over. I'm glad you liked this. :)
