Kristen got engaged to Austin Hammit Friday night! They'll get married probably next spring or next fall (she just doesn't want a summer wedding). Huzzah!

They weren't kidding when they said grad school was a job. It's summer vacation, but I've been up to the lab every day so far this summer from around 9-5. Jack and I are planning to get lawn seats for the Aerosmith concert on 7/19. They're a little cheaper if you get them in packs of 4 (around $40/person I think). Anyone interested?

Jack and I are going to road trip to Las Vegas this Friday and we'll be gone for a week! I'm excited -- it'll be nice to get away. My parents didn't end up selling their house in March becuase the financing for the buyer fell through. They have sold their house again, due to close on May 8th. My parents are renting a house near their land, and they will be here any minute to take their labs home.

It will be so nice and quiet around here!

Not that it really matters when school ends, because I'm still going to be up here for about 8 hours/day, but at least I won't have class. It is annoying to still have to go to class and have finals to study for and be in the middle of my behavioral testing for my project, which takes about 3 hours/day. I can't wait for classes to be over...

I bought a new car! It's a VW Jetta SportWagen, white with beige interior, and it has the biggest, most awesome sunroof ever. I love it! And not just because it has new car smell...

I think I just sold my car... I'm waiting for the dude to come back with a cashier's check. Then I'm going to go buy a Jetta SportWagen with a giant sunroof!
