The best part is that the captions for all of the pictures of Fassy involve the word hot. At least they've got that part down.

So apparently I can't stop playing with my background and colors.

So.....there was no loss of power here.
The end of my street is flooded, and the lagoon in the back yard has risen over the lower dock, but that's about it. It may go higher still, but I don't think we'll be experiencing any serious flooding. But we toured the neighborhood in my truck and I took this picture:

To all my fellow east coasters: stay safe, everybody.

So the forecast for this weekend continues to get worse, and some nearby towns are even evacuating. We probably won't be going anywhere, even though we live on the water.
