You know, that kind of brought back a high school memory of mine from Economics class. The teacher was also the football coach, was well over 300 lbs, and had a loud high pitched voice that you would expect from a small child

Ha! High school football coaches rule. At least the southern/rural ones do. That exchange could easily have taken place at my old hometown high school as well. And I would dare say, giving a "midterm" like that because giving a regular one would interfere with coachin' up the boys is something that would be a hundred times more likely to happen a southern/rural high school too. That Friday Night Lights/Varsity Blues kind of community obsession with football quite often goes to lengths that would mortify a person who didn't grow up in a town like mine or, as I assume, yours

The part that gets to me though is this: WHY IS THAT FOOL UPSET THAT THE DAMNED HAMBURGER ACTUALLY COSTS LESS THAN SHE INITIALLY ASSUMED?!?!?!?!?! Why is that a bad thing in her mind? Even if she'd never seen the ad campaign, she should have had better sense than to get mad after finding out that she could afford the thing after all.
