Well, the House of Representatives has just voted to bar Planned Parenthood from federal funding. As many of y'all know, PP provides services that extend far beyond abortion - cervical cancer screening, STD tests, birth control prescriptions, and general low-cost gynecological services to low-income women. I wish actually contacting my Senators would have an effect. Neither of them would be that in favor of PP being funded. :(

And the one who is more moderate is being attacked for being too moderate by the Tea Party and is up for election this year. :(

This was how I felt with the Reps, one of mine was sponsoring and otherwise hugely supporting the recent barrage of anti-choice legislature - I don't even get the cursory form emails back from him. :(
