I am the same way. I can't watch horrid movies. I agreed with the movies on your list. I might add that you need to see A&E's 1996 version of Persuasion. Just amazing

I never had the benefit of seeing it as a child. I saw it for the first time about 5 years ago.
To me It's all about Bowie. ;P

LadyHawke -- awesome movie!!!! and Contact -- forgot about that one too. Great list. I think people's movie choices tell a lot about who they are. Silence of the Lambs spooked me -- Poltergeist was a good one. Have you heard about the curse that the Poltergeist movies have? Many deaths have occured regarding those involved with the movie. Interesting...

all good movies......... have you watched The Fountain, terrific movie! then i love the native american genre too, Skins and Smoke Signals. (both make you cry) and my all time weirdo fav. is Donnie Darko. (i do like strange movies)
