Life is too short to have long hair.
I think I shall cut my hair short again. But this time, really short. I've been growing it for a year, and I've just never got the hang of it being long. I liked it better when it was short. I've taken up jogging, and I have delusions of Marathon grandeur. I'm convinced that in two months time I'll actually be able to run 5k.

The quest for the perfect pie.
It's mid-October, which means that my parents have begun road-testing mince pies in advance of Christmas. The aim is to find the ultimate supermarket mince pie by 25th December. It's harder than it sounds.
Tonight's offering is from Tesco. The pastry's rather dry, but the filling's quite delicate. 6/10.
