This is the typical GOP mode of operations. Blast everyone within earshot, and then effectively attempt to deprive anyone the chance to get in a word edgewise. From the Patriot Act, to hectoring suggestions that dissent is anti-patriotic, to the administration's flat-out refusals to answer any question regarding Bush's guard duty, the unconstitutionality of Bush and Cheney even being elected as President and Vice-President (due to both having residency in the same state, despite Cheney's dubious claims to Wyoming residency), or any other topic, that's the GOP way. I went to this guy's site, and found it quite pathetic. It's easy to be right when no one else gets a say, I guess.
You know, Bush really isn't so bad. He's sorta like a cute wild boar, who can make decisions even though they mostly include running headlong towards whatever smells like sustenance.
It's his friends I can't stand. Cheney and Rumsfeld and all those piglets. The ones who told Bush getting rid of the dividend and estate taxes was a good way to fix the job problem. Eesh. But really, it's all a game and nothing matters. The people we're taught to hate really have little to do with what's pissing us off. Which I find hilarious. But I'm still voting for Kerry. Edwards vs. Cheney? No contest.
In Dubai, a guy from Lebanon said the reason the war isn't being won like they thought it would be is because of the question of motivation. American soldiers fight because they think they're invincible. Their enemy fights because they're ready to die. In a pinch, who would you say has a better grip on reality?
I've always found snackdaddy's journal to be quite entertaining and fairly unique. However, it has gotten all political as of late, which I suppose is a by-product of the up-coming election.
As for Bush; just because he is a cute and cuddly puppet doesn't make him any more innocent than Cheney or Rummsfeld. He willingly lets himself be used for the profit of himself and his friends. The man, quite contrary to the current GOP slogans, has no back-bone and that makes him just as despicable as his buddies.
Ah, opinions...pontifexofpunkSeptember 3 2004, 05:28:24 UTC
I'm a firm believer that all politicians are full of shit. It just so happens I think George W Shrub is like 10 pounds of shit in a 9 pound bag

Why would you even read that guy's journal?
