Started my first steroid treatment today..went pretty minus a few side effects but I'm ok now. This is the first of five treatments I will be receiving for this round...then the doc wants to see how I respond to this. The last time I had this treatment I had strength for about a month. Well now I find out that I don't have to go to the hospital anymore. I can have the treatments done in the infusion center as an outpatient. The only thing is I'm waiting for my insurance to approve this $10,000 a dose treatment where I'm gonna need three doses. That's twice what my cars worth! Well here is an update on my progress those this "transverse myelitis" thing I have. Been getting really weak over the past week and had to call the doc on Saturday.
