I am taking an unknown amount of time away from school. I can't afford to go to school and feed myself at the same time.

I got a fiddle!!
(yes, that is the same thing as a violin.)

The reality is, my dad is helping me rent a violin so I can learn the fiddle, but the rental fees go toward the price of purchase, so if I decide I want to keep it after a year, I can.

I'm one step closer to being a traveling minstrel.

I have a job again! Not just any ol' job, but a really nice espresso job! Blue Gardenia is both a bakery AND a coffee roaster, is locally-owned, and is run by great people. At my interview on Tuesday, I fell in love with the manager and thee roaster. They are really cool guys. The whole vibe there is wonderful, and it smells amazing ( Read more... )
