it was cold and dreary out as i was getting ready to leave work so i ditched the gym, convincing myself i'd go tomorrow and SWIM. other than that i plan to spend the weekend deep into card making and other paper crafts. i've got so much inspiration pulsing through my veins that i'm about to burst. 1. went to my new gym for the first time. thought i was going to pass out after 15mins on the bike. yikes. NOT IN SHAPE.

2. saw a bunch of kids jumping into a huge pile of dried leaves down the road. it was a classic, fabulous fall moment. i wanted to bottle it forever.

um. yes, i need to get this hello kitty [yes, i said hello kitty credit card. oh my goodness the cuteness.

tweeds and boucle, oh my! i love fall clothing. and this being my second fall in colorado, i can really enjoy it this time - i'm settled, somewhat, i know have accepted there will be no 70 degree days. so today, i bought a new tweed skirt, some tights and suede boots.

fall, bring it on!

have i mentioned i'm going to paris in april? for, like, a MONTH! oh yes i AM! and i think i'm going to stay here which is steps away from where my mom had her first grown-up apartment. i'm ultra excited. i remember roaming montmartre has a kid - the hills! - and spending lots of time with my great aunt who lived in one of those lux buildings ( Read more... )

dude. there was just a FAWN on my LAWN [hi. i rhyme, check it]. i went outside to work on something and came face to face with this adorable startled fawn. i stood there and said 'wait,' and turned around to go inside for some fruit. as i did that i heard the little boy next door go 'grrrrr' and chase the deer away.
