After being refused to donate blood this morning due to low iron, it dawned on me that perhaps I shouldn't try to donate with a mild hangover anyhow. And out of curiosity, what would the reaction be to donated blood with a BAC > .1? Hmmm....

Now such a foreign concept.. this LJ thing. Crazy that I haven't posted for about a year. Anyhow, thought I'd let people know I'm still alive. Egad... my roommate Kate just gave me a lecture on how to be less "fashionably challenged." In it she expressed the belief that I should move away from cotton and go to more of a less "out of the drier" look. Well, I am sad to say I have less than a week left in DC. It has been such a fun experience for me. Work has been enjoyable and I have been able to learn about government and how things actually get done up here in the land of bureaucracy. Amusing... Angry constituents are so funny. I am indeed up in our nation's capital, the mighty DC. Howdy ho all. I've been back since last Thursday... The MSU Wind Ensemble played at the Bandmaster's Clinic, and I'm curious who went from OS. I certainly didn't see anyone from the high school at our concert, including Mr. Joe, the trashy hoebag.
