kitty troubles
*sigh*
So I'm sure that many of you remember the whole fiasco with my cat Frisky being diabetic. What I neglected to mention is that as of July, she is no longer diabetic. Yay! It hasn't rained in Boston in quite a while. Which means that for the past few weeks, every Monday-Friday, the building next to ours has had construction workers outside starting at 8:30am doing things like sawing through metal directly underneath our window. another birthday gone
So it appears that I (and BJ, for that matter) have, in fact, had another birthday. Thanks to everyone who sent cards/facebook messages/e-mails/IMs, all that good stuff. Just married!
It was a rather tiring weekend and so I'm not going to do a full update/rundown of the wedding right now, but I wanted to check in to say that BJ and I did, in fact, get married on Saturday. =^) Everything was beautiful and everyone seemed to have a good time, so it was a good day all around. mmm, crêpes
BJ and I made crêpes last night after being inspired by an episode of Good Eats. They were surprisingly successful--BJ made the batter and I cooked them, though BJ was in charge of flipping them, because he can just flip things with the pan, which is something that I cannot do without causing serious bodily harm to everyone in the area. my morning adventure
The street that I walk down to get to the (first) bus stop of my commute isn't terribly long, but from when I get onto it from my own street there are two hospitals (one on either side of the street), then two public schools (high school on the left, middle school on the right), and one more hospital (on the left).
