Funnily enough, this played out as a movie in my head. Then it was just painstakingly bringing it to the written word. I'd give a hell of a lot to see Lea and Dianna play this on the big screen.

Pardon my language, but this IS FUCKING GREAT!!!!! I am a huge comic book fan, Marvel and DC, and this is EPIC FABERRY with a super hero twist!! Quinn totally has the Batman persona, without the dead-parents-i-want-justice chip on her shoulder. Rachel totally has her Catwoman on and she looks great doing it! By the way, Part 2 was HOT!!! This story has all the classic super hero elements: secret identities, cooperative detective helping the hero, brooding hero, hot villian, unrequited love...I could go on, but you know this, you are the supreme writer!! This story is so Tasty, I am seriously hoping there is a sequel...maybe? please? =)

Fist bump, my fellow comic book friend! As I mentioned up in the comments, I grew up reading comics as a kid. 80's era Marvel and DC was some good stuff so I was ecstatic to see a way I could bring two things I love together.

There is some Batman-esque elements in Quinn and a little Selena Kyle in Rachel. But there's also some Felicia Hardy and Lucy Diamond in Rachel's character as well. Justice has some elements of Batman, Sue Richards, Green Arrow and a few others.

Sequel? We shall see. Thanks for reading. :-)

I have loved this fic since you first showed me that initial scene on the rooftop!!!

I'm going to agree with some others that is has all the classic elements of a great superhero story including angst, secret identities, a brooding hero and hot villain.

The sex scene was hot as HELL, but I think my favorite scene was the second rooftop scene, where Q shows Rachel just how much Rachel hurt her. Oh teh angst!!

The ending was a marvelous twist. Somehow, I don't think Rachel's plan is going to have Quinn dashing into her arms...at least not once Quinn figures out Rachel's plan. It begs for more.

You've started an actual universe here, love. If you'd like to share more of it with us, I think your audience would be glad to partake.

They are angsty, aren't they? As for Rachel's plan, well...don't count her out quite yet. She's very persuasive and a woman who knows her own mind. Quinn's gonna have her hands full either way.

I dunno about a universe but it seems like a pretty fertile playground for more passion and angst to abound. You know I have a hard time saying no to that.
