i arrived home to a freezing england 3 days ago and haven't left the house since.

hello, hello again. Ive left new zealand with a headfull of amazing memories; i loved the place so so much. Incerdibly every new place was better than the last. I've been travelling and living in a camper van with my friend james, and it has 'black sabbath' spray painted on the side. Im in Melbourne, deciding what cheap drink to have tonight before I go out to Q&A, seemingly the only gay indie night in Australia. I have high expectations so it better be a good one. Melbourne feels strangely like the UK, full of terraced houses, tree-lined streets and mix and match architecture. Its also bloody cold. Time to buy more beanies

it still amazes me that this is supposed to be an australian winter - yesterday was scorching. im in a small town called noosa ("neeuwsa" for the kath & kim fans), 2 hours north of brisbane. its reminiscent of byron but has a slightly more neat and polished feel to it - instead of grungy beachside cafes there are classy restaurants lined with ( Read more... )
