4 days until i officially start working, but already i'm inundated with emails, VIPs' itineraries & general prep work. i need to locate a laundromat/dry cleaner near our office (again il palazzo grassi). there are templates to fix up to keep all the VIPs organized. i need to email the water taxi people.

& now i also need to keep an eye on local

So I was thinking about it and really the only two I check out would be livejournal.com/users/ohnotheydidnt and tmz.com but those are both more US oriented but ohnotheydidnt did carry some news and photos from la mostra last year. I would check the websites for the italian and british gossip sites. For instance in Italy I think they are Oggi, Ciao and Tu (or IO) but I could be wrong it's been a while since I read Italian gossip. I think for the brits its Hello. But it wouldn't hurt to run a google search on european gossip mags...boh. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. Good luck and I wish I was there with you!!! Divertiti!!!

wow, mille grazie e ancora di piu'! domani provero' i tuoi suggerimenti - mi sa che siano utili ma adesso sto per andare a letto!

ho gia' fatto delle ricerche su google ma non sono riuscita a trovare niente che mi serve. per la maggior parte i siti che ho trovato sono troppo concentrati sulle stelle di hollywood. invece ho anche bisogno di informazione su altri VIP come grandi designer, atleti, socialites, reali internazionali... e altri ricchi in generale.

Hmm ok try this. See if there are advertisements or you hear through the grapevine about other big events and parties happening then go online and search those parties and see if you can't see any info from last year then take the peeps that showed last year and invite them this year to your party. It's a long shot but a kind of roundabout way of finding out the typical VIP types that get invited to the Mostra parties. Also in the same vein see if you can't find someway to chat up the contacts people for these other parties and events happening and then see if you can weasle info that way. Good luck bella!!!!
