fashion week!

no updates at all!

but basically: 15 hours of unpacking & setting up for show, skinny girls walk around in dangerously high heels with dangerously skinny legs for 7 whole minutes, 3 hours of dismantling & packing everything back up.

in an hour, i set off for JFK & home. i'm so happy.

4 minutes till 7am. work starts at 8am.

it shouldn't take more than 1/2 hour for a typical new yorker to get to & from where i need to go... but i'm more of a typical gets-loster so i'll need all the time i can get.

metrocard: $25 for 7 days of unlimited rides. poifect.

4 days until i officially start working, but already i'm inundated with emails, VIPs' itineraries & general prep work. i need to locate a laundromat/dry cleaner near our office (again il palazzo grassi). there are templates to fix up to keep all the VIPs organized. i need to email the water taxi people.

they have milongas every monday right here in mestre, a working-class, slightly industrialized town 10 minutes away from the-prettier-sister venice by bus. who'da thunk?
