it shouldn't take more than 1/2 hour for a typical new yorker to get to & from where i need to go... but i'm more of a typical gets-loster so i'll need all the time i can get.

metrocard: $25 for 7 days of unlimited rides. poifect.

If you get a chance while you're there go to the Downtown Jekyll and Hyde restaurant for dinner (the creatures don't talk at lunchtime, until then, I don't think). It's really fun!!!

woo, good idea! i'll see if i get another night off - got out early yesterday (miracle of miracles!) & went to explore chinatown & little italy & had my first good chinese food in 3 months. gawrsh i missed america!
