Oh. My. God. Talk about a drabble with a punch, the very best example of the form. This is wonderful! And...don't apologize for this piece being sad. If we lose Brokeback's sadness, if we don't get in touch with Ennis's grief, there is no message. And we've *got* to hold onto that message in order to enact change. (Oh, boy, I wish I lived in California to vote against Prop 8!)

But this is a memorable drabble. Thanks so much for writing and sharing with us.

Oh...(((Linda))) I know. And we were just getting an inkling of his brilliance in Dark Knight. If it's any consolation, my son is now a huge Heath fan. Wants the Dark Knight for Christmas. Is wearing a Joker T-shirt. But...well...I'd trade it all to have HIM back. He will be loved forever. xx
