There were 2 lightening bugs in my room last night. I tried to catch one but it flew up to the ceiling :/

hey alex! just havent said hello lately! I miss the lightening bugs...we dont have them here! we had on heck of a lightening storm here today though. i feel lazy this summer, so i cant wait to get back into band next month. im swarmed with all the hw the AP classes bring...ack! well, nothing much else! later

and it does suck we dont have lightening bugs, but we have love bugs! haha! those are about the same size and are EVERYWHERE during season...they fly around in pairs (hence the name) and the lightening here is sooo cool! its goes like down to the ground and you can see the bolts and they last longer! kinda scary when driving! haha!
