For the 4th of July weekend we are going to Alpena to stay at a friend's cabin. Bryan mentioned that he wanted to go camping so after we leave Alpena we're headed to Sault Ste Marie for the afternoon then on to Tahquamenon Falls for the evening. Pauline and I finished the 5K last today with our best time yet despite the horrible heat today. We did really well and it was rather frustrating to watch people behind us turn around before the halfway point and continue walking. I'm so done with people and their petty BS! Bryan dropped the boys off at Tony's this evening and Frannie was there. We knew that beforehand, no big deal. I spent all day yesterday at Mom's baking and decorating a cake for Jacob's birthday party. 7 hours and lots of money later it fell apart so today I'm back at square one and am once again sitting at Mom's house baking. Book fair was this week. It's been an exhausting week and a half but so much fun too. I didnt get anywhere near the amount of volunteers we did in the fall so I spent lots of time working the fair myself as well as a select few dedicated helpers.
