Have you seen Stay? It's a 2005 movie with Ewan McGregor and Ryan Gosling:

This racy thriller bends reality about five different ways when a psychologist's (Ewan McGregor) suicidal client starts making bizarre predictions that, to everyone's mounting consternation, begin to come true. Now, the shrink must race against the clock to save everything he loves before it disappears forever. Naomi Watts, Ryan Gosling, Bob Hoskins and Janeane Garofalo co-star in this suspenseful yarn directed by Marc Forster.

I think you would love it. I know I did. And I bawled. :)

I showed Primer to my film club attendees back in August. They also found it confusing, so I sent them this:

holy crap, that timeline is HUGE... and complicated. i didnt follow everything the first time (obviously) but i have some understanding of what was unfolding there at the end... i'll have to dive into the timeline to really figure it out though. and i totally disagree with arnold... primer was very good. very good.

i went to add primer to my blockbuster queue, and i got a pop up from facebook--something to the effect of putting my new queue addition on my facebook profile. has anyone else encountered this oddity? maybe it's just me, that seems a little too stalkerish...
