god, it still hasnt sunk in, nearly 2 years later.
i'm looking at apartments in my old neighborhood and i found one at 6564 Fleur de Lis, my old address was 6752. and i thought for a moment, "gee, i can just go walk over and give it a look"

great nature's second course...
so i was walking outside to get some air when i heard the familiar 1-2 whistle of a red-tailed hawk. it sounded close so i walked toward the noise. not more than 2 minutes after i showed up another hawk joined him. the new one was mostly grey-white and seemed to be giving him food.
