monday morning... you always come too soon. i always stay up late on sunday night trying to extend the weekend and to stop your arrival. but, my efforts are in vein, because you always come and i'm always tired and nearly always late...

does anyone watch ugly betty? can anyone give me a synopsis of the season finale. i saw the last 10 minutes and i'm really perplexed. i'll probably watch it online in a few days, but i really want to know what happened!

ps- summer seems to arrived in toronto. finally. it was 28 degrees today. woot!

i'm waiting in the lobby of our hotel. we've walked a lot the last few days and don't really feel like we need to see anymore. my mom's knee hurts (she fractured her patella about a month and a half ago). so, it's that weird countdown to leave. i would really like to be on the plane right now ( Read more... )

i'm contemplating whether or not i should get a facebook account. i know it shouldn't be a big deal, but it feels like one...

i saw naomi klein at the YMCA! a bunch of us we're leaving the change to go up to abs class and naomi klein was walking in.

i admit, i'm being a bit cheesy, but i was awed for the duration of the abs class...

so, i'm going to boston, MA in april. it's a family trip and i'm pretty excited. a family friend qualified for the boston marathon and i guess we're going down to support (and sightsee). i want to see a baseball game and my mom wants to go to the cheers bar, which is pretty cute. i feel all mature that i'm excited to go on a trip with my mom... yay ( Read more... )

i found this article to be pretty depressing, especially since it implicates me (and my lifestyle... ugh). the bit about avatars and their energy consumption is especially sad.
